WHAT CHAIN DO I NEED?

To know which chain you need to buy for your chainsaw you need to have 3 pieces of information at hand:

- total number of links in your chain

- chain pitch (which can be: 1/4 P, 3/8 P, 3.25, 3/8, .404)

- thickness of the driving link

WHERE CAN I FIND THIS DATA?

You can find the data in two ways: by reading the data engraved on the bar or by counting the overall links of your chain and using a special tool to find the pitch and thickness of the drive link
